Matchwell Engineering is looking for a Senior Tool & Die Design Engineer for our R&D and tooling development facility at Unit III, Chakan. You will design press tools, sheet metal forming dies, and welding fixtures for heavy commercial vehicles and earthmoving equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design progressive, compound, and deep drawing dies using Siemens NX / SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
- Perform sheet metal forming feasibility simulation and spring-back analysis.
- Collaborate with tool room machinists during die manufacturing, trial press runs, and dimensional inspection.
- Optimize welding fixture designs to improve cycle times on robotic welding cells.
